Hack, snork, wheeze, blarghl...gahhh...
Bleah.

:-(

I had a slightly sore throat on Tuesday. I woke up Wednesday all congested and feeling cruddy, but went into work anyway, because there was some critical stuff that needed handling. Finally got it sorted - despite violent sneezing attacks and increasing congestion and general cruddiness - and bailed around 1:30. Stopped off for sinus pills and more kleenex, came home and collapsed.

Poor odogoddess has been looking after me and our beasties since then, though she's feeling pretty crappy herself. :-(

Spent the rest of Wednesday and most of yesterday in a daze, doped up on lovely, lovely Nyquil, and hacking and snorking up disgusting slime of interesting colors from various orifices.

Still feeling cruddy, but less fevery and a bit more human. Very glad odogoddess convinced me to take another day off, because I'm pretty sure I wouldn't have lasted a full day at work. :-/

Normally, my immune system is mighty and powerful, but when it decides to take a break...ugh.

I'm (very feebly) working on exchange fics, but will probably have to request extensions, as I'm not concentrating very well and unlikely to make the original deadlines. *sigh* Well, that's hardly new, is it? *rg*

Anyway, everyone out there please keep up with your vitamin C and drink lots of green tea and stay away from sick people - like me - if at all possible. *rg*

	It's pretty nasty. I seem to be mending a bit, but now J's come down sick, too. She said you're psychic, as that's just what you'd predicted was going to happen. rg I'd have called, but I really can't talk too well for long - too much glop in the system. :-P (Reply to this) (Parent)

	Dude, I am right there with you - except that staying away from sick people is impossible! I'm on my second round of cold/flu and just found out I have a sinus infection. Its ALL ABOUT the Robitusin and Sambucol. The last is edle berry extract and super helps your immune system. hands you yummy herbal infusion Feel better hugs (Reply to this) (Thread)

	Gah, yeah, I've got the sinus crud, too - nasty colored disgusting...TMI. Sambucol is good stuff - I'll have to pick some up. 	Oh, I should have SO checked this post before we tried to go out celebrating today - half way to Carmel we had to turn back because we both felt crappy. New celebration protocol: make soup, bread, and curl up under a blanket - we are suckers for tradition after all, and isnt there something about 'in sickness and in health' we have to do? Check.
