California Supreme Court Legalizes Same-Sex Marriage

odogoddess and I were married on March 30, 2002, in a beautiful ceremony and celebration with friends and family.

She proposed this morning; I said yes. :D

This time it can be "legal."

Congratulations to all the other happy same-sex couples out there - and congratulations to the CA State Supreme Court, for doing what's right.

	Thanks! And I'm really proud of the court - it was a 4/3 split, but that's from a bench with 6 justices who were appointed by Republican governors! And one of the dissenters made a statement that shows she actually doesn't object to gay marriage, but was voting against this particular mechanism of achieving it. I can respect that.
